Jamie helps people rethink their idea of great residential architecture to reveal what’s truly possible. After qualifying as an architect with honours, Jamie embarked on a successful career in the private residential sector before joining Happy Building. His passion for problem-solving is invaluable. While his experience of high-end detailing makes every living project more cost-effective. At work, Jamie supports the team’s aspirations by sharing his knowledge to drive quality standards. At home, the Rugby enthusiast enjoys spending cherished time with his family.

Lead Architect & Construction Bridge Manager
Anastasia is an award-winning architect who brings an exciting dynamic to the Happy Building team. Before relocating to embrace London's artistic, architectural mecca, she spent her early career working in Bulgaria. At Happy Building, she thrives on turning clients' ideas into aspirational yet practical living experiences. Anastasia has a wonderfully creative daughter who she describes as her greatest yet most rewarding challenge.
Anastasia Atanasova - BA (Hons), Dip (Arch), ARB
Abbas qualified with a Bachelors degree in architecture. His early career led to design projects for mosques, Islamic schools, community centres, and private residences. At Happy Building, Abbas uses his geometric influences to create a sense of symmetry and balance. As a natural leader, he takes responsibility for the group, inspiring the team to succeed. Abbas lives in a stylish period property. He personally transformed the home with two extensions, a loft conversion, and an internal reconfiguration. His calming persona comes from a love of well-being, yoga, swimming, and the sauna.
Senior Executive Designer & Design Team Manager
Geo qualified with a BA (Hons) at the Manchester School of Architecture. He joined the Happy Building team with architectural experience in private residential, retail and hospitality, leisure, and education. It's easy to see why Geo found his design calling. As an accomplished cocktail mixologist, blues, funk, soul musician, and avid furniture restorer in his spare time, Geo is artistic by nature. His architectural designs balance practicality, creativity and flair, often including features our clients' hadn't considered but find incredibly valuable.
Miles has a BA in architecture and design with merit. His inspiration comes from a love of galleries and exhibitions, where you'll often find him studying contemporary art forms. Miles takes pride in seeing his designs become a reality. Especially when he helps clients' achieve something they didn't think was possible. Along with the many Happy Building customers who value Miles's contribution, his work is also recognised by the Japanese Embassy in London, the Architects Journal, and EcoBuild magazine.
Carlotta grew up in Tuscany before relocating to study in London. She qualified with a BA (Hons) in interior architecture from the University of Westminster. Her previous experience working for luxury Italian and English furniture brands fuels her passion for properties & interiors. Carlotta thrives on being part of the journey that realises our customers' dreams. She especially enjoys guiding clients through the architectural services, engineering, and building works processes in a way that puts people at ease.
Chantelle brings a deep dedication to the Happy Building team. After all, not many aspiring architects have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for charity. In her role as an architectural assistant, Chantelle works closely with clients and peers to enrich her journey towards becoming a fully qualified RIBA architect. Chantelle graduated with a BA (Hons) in Architecture from the University of Liverpool in 2019.
Part I Architectural Assistant
Francesca works closely with the senior architects across a wide range of projects. She puts her problem-solving skills to great use by overcoming obstacles to make imaginative concepts achievable. Her work is meticulously planned down to the smallest detail. Francesca has a first-class BSc part 1 honours degree in architecture. At university, she won the Grand Slam title as a member of the women's rugby team. A feat that gave Francesca a deep understanding of the value of teamwork.
Bhavik qualified with a BA Hons in accounting and finance. He’s also a fellow member of the association of chartered accountants. As a natural strategic thinker, Bhavik thrives in Happy Building’s fast-moving environment. He loves being part of the senior management team where people lead from the front to drive change and innovation. Away from work, Bhavik spends quality time with his wife and two young boys. He’s a passionate Liverpool football fan who had the honour of playing at Anfield in 2018.
Head of Business Intelligence
“This might sound boring, but I love to reconcile banks accounts”, says Rebecca. “Boring or not, a passion for figures makes her a valued member of the team. Rebecca embarked on roles in admin, sales, and logistics before taking time to re-evaluate her career. After studying for a Level 2 AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) diploma, she took up her first accounting role at couture brand Chrisanne Clover. Rebecca soon completed her Level 3 AAT diploma before joining Happy Building to further her career. At home, Rebecca is best known for wowing friends with her magical Halloween and Christmas design themes.
With a marketing career spanning 20 years, including roles at Ralph Lauren and L’Oreal, Malene is Happy Building’s brand custodian. She loves connecting people, products and outstanding services by telling the Happy Building story. Originally from Copenhagen, Malene has a degree in economics and politics from Queen Mary. Her love for the simple, functional principles of Scandinavian design is a testament to her Danish roots. Malene lives in London with her husband Valter, teenage daughter, and ‘Marley’ the Swedish Vallhund.

Jola manages the creative content for our print and digital channels. She qualified with a BA (Hons) in retail marketing at Manchester Metropolitan Uni. Jola loves working with fellow creatives to turn concepts into visual reality. Her inspiration comes from a love of the arts, culture, galleries and museums. At home, you might find Jola planning for her next 50km hike. She’s already completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge (Pen-y-Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside). Alternatively, you might find her performing Polish folk with a twist as part of a female vocal group.
Creative Marketing Lead
After studying marketing and law at the University of Porto, Valter embarked on a career in commercial construction. Yet, a passion for interior design and architecture led to the launch of Happy Building in 2012. Valter’s knowledge of complex construction, alongside an enthusiasm for systems and processes, helps Happy Building ensure every design and build project is an enjoyable experience. When he’s not competing in ultra running events, you’ll find Valter relaxing at home in London with his wife Malene and daughter.

Planning & Operations Manager

Interior Designer/ Architect
The purpose of this role is to create beautiful and exciting spaces through interior architecture and design and to Inspire, guide and deliver a quality project through an elevated customer experience from concept design to key-in-hand.
Part of a dynamic and highly driven team, the project manager has full Ownership of the project timeline delivery, project profit margins for all their live projects and the successful execution of weekly construction delivery targets.
Joining our highly creative and ambitious design practice, the Senior Architect will be responsible for leading and managing a number of projects from concept design stage, through development of design, cost feasibility, planning, and be of support with the later stages to the site teams. This role is ideal for a Part III qualified with over 5 years post part III experience.
This role will be the first point of contact for enquiries and play a key role in converting prospective enquiries into live Architectural Design clients. Providing a business-critical role, they will ensure that prospects are delivered, onboarded and converted through both in person and virtual consultations by employing a consultative approach whilst effectively communicating the Happy Building process and services. This is not a hard sale style environment and as such experience and the ability to offer an advice driven / consultative approach is key
